The new (okay, not so new anymore) California Academy of Sciences does this thing on Thursday nights where they slash the prices for admission, keep the museum open late, and add booze and dance music.

Surprisingly, it’s extremely popular. Like, you have to wait in line for an hour for tickets. Luckily someone did that for us.

This is toward the end of the night, looking down into one of the main bar areas in the center of the museum. Despite popular myth, even hipsters like science!
